|
The research papers and cases in this book on the themes of microfinance, entrepreneurship and social development have been published over a period of three decades. These papers and cases are based on policy research and field experiences. In the category of microfinance, one case and four research papers explore different aspects of emergence and growth of microfinance sector in Indian sub-continent with respect to financial inclusion. In the category of entrepreneurship, five research papers and three cases explore different dimensions as well as need and importance of entrepreneurship in India for the growth of economy and improving quality of life. In the category of social development, seven research papers are focusing on the topics of health, poverty, agriculture and rural development, status of scheduled castes and migration.
