Book Summary

The present volume entitled Moral Language contains the papers exploring different areas like the role and structure of language generating a moral obligation in our mind, textual studies on Mimamsa, Natisataka, Samkhya etc., Naturalistic Fallacy, is-ought distinction, meta-ethical problems etc. by well-known scholars devoting to the study of this area of Philosophy for a considerable period of time. The papers incorporated in this volume also critically highlight the following problems in particular: (a) What does language have to do with morality? (b) Does a word reflect some ultimate reality in the universe? (c) Is the analysis of language of moral reasoning considered as a way of resolving ethical problems at the modern age? Hope the future generation will get some valuable and interesting materials for their study in the field of Moral Philosophy from the essays of this volume.
